Well this is short on content .....
Most scholars believe beer was "stumbled " upon by early man. It was likely the
result of stored grain being left in a rain shower . The fermenting porridge was
found and eaten days later. The first beer buz was born ! The drunkenness most
have delighted that person enough that duplication of this accident was eagerly
appreciated .
Some even argue that these early brewers are responsible for civilization . A
hunter/gatherer could easily carry enough wild grain and hunt prey for the tribe
, but moving beer around would be impractical.
food for thought:
The first paved road in America was built by brewers in New York. Their horse
drawn wagons, full of beer , got stuck in the mud.
